Charlie's mum brought in her school nurse team and special UV equipment to test for bacteria on our hands. The children had just come in from lunch time play and were shocked at how much their hands glowed under the UV light - that indicated the presence of bacteria! She then showed the children exactly how to wash their hands properly - never was so much soap and hot water used as that afternoon with the children determined to get rid of every germ! They then checked under the UV light again and were thoroughly relieved to see that their hands were glowing far less than at the start.
