As part of their topic on Heroes and Villains, the children were excited to investigate what materials would be needed to make suits for Elastagirl, Magneto, Aquaman and so on. They then had huge fun testing a huge range of materials to find which one was 'best' for each suit. Water, magnets, lights, scales, measuring tapes and weights were put to full use as the classroom became Edna Mode's testing hall for the afternoon (thank you Mr. Bradley for organising it all for us.) After choosing the 'best' material, children then designed a suit for their very own favourite toy. Finally, with the help of a team of superhero mums and granny, we were able to make a suit for every toy. Surely you must agree with us that these are the best dressed Superheroes ever!
