Wonwell class continued their Science learning this week by exploring how to make a balloon travel along a piece of string. We talked about the force that was needed and how it would work, with some fantastic ideas contributed by the children. They worked in pairs, exploring if it made a difference whether the string was tight or loose, high or low one end, a big balloon or a small balloon. One child concluded that 'The bigger the balloon, the further it will go. It has more air to power it'. What a fantastic way to bring Science to life! Please click here to see more pictures.
