This morning Wonwell class took their phonic learning outside. The children used chalks to work on both their spellings and phonic skills. Year 1 learnt that there is an alternative spelling for 'or' as in 'aw' and wrote words while Year 2 worked on the suffix 'est' and how it can be added to root words. A wonderful way to kick start their learning in the beautiful autumnal sunshine!
