Making the most of the great outdoors
In the midst of all the coronavirus news this week, we took our children out for their forest school learning for some much needed calm time on Tuesday. Wonwell and Mothecombe classes went together for the afternoon. While Mothecombe class used the charcoal they made last week to draw the trees and plants around them, Wonwell class practised their tool skills. They used vegetable peelers and palm drills to create little stick people linked to their topic. It was wonderful to see the engagement with their learning. This may have been the last time we would be together for a while but we look forward to many more moments of outdoor learning in the future. Please click here to see more photos.
