The destination was changed but the goals were the same. The traditional Brickfields events this year has the new (temporary) home of Exeter Arena. On what was an extremely hot day, the whole of KS2 took to the track to take part in a number of races and field events. Each member of the class contributed and every single individual should be immensely proud. A special mention must be paid to Niamh Jones and Atara Pond who gained a podium finish in the shot-put. Lottie Chambers also faced stiff competition to retain her crown in the 200m; a photo-finish resulted in a bronze but this will only make victory all the sweeter in future events in secondary school! Well done KS2!
