Stoke class have been exploring apples this week as part of our topic on Autumn. We have cut them, peeled them, printed paint patterns with them and made apple soup in the mud kitchen! Today a new game evolved which they called 'apple cannon!'. The children designed a cannon and spent ages modifying it so the apples would roll down it and shoot out in the most effective way. They put a box at the bottom to catch the apples. A great example of child led learning in action!
